Frequently Asked Questions
Will Team Training cause me to “bulk up?” Not in and of itself.  Our goal is to optimize lean-to-fat ratios, not create muscle-bound body builders.
How often should I do a Team Training workout? We recommend three to four times per week. Or, ideally, combine private training with Team Training. Many of our clients do 2-3 private training sessions and 2-3 Team Training sessions.
What time of day are the workouts? We offer camps at various times of day to accommodate most schedules.
Can I drop in? Yes but you will get the most benefit by attending regularly.  This way, you’re committed and it’s easy to build the group camaraderie that contributes to a really standout experience.
How does Team Training fit with my existing personal training arrangement? If you are on a regular strength program, with or without a trainer, keep it up.  The camps are not a replacement for formal strength training.
Would Team Training replace my cardio schedule?  Yes.  There are many conditioning opportunities in the Team Training workouts.
How many people in a workout? Expect between 8 and 20 people to join you in a Team Training workout, making it a fun, motivating, team experience.
How does the Team Training experience differ from other fitness “classes”?  The Team Training workouts are carefully and methodically constructed with the latest exercise science, with safety and effectiveness our top priority. Our workouts are periodized through the month to meet the collective goals of the team, and we offer a variety of workouts to meet almost any level of fitness.  Our staff is composed of some of the best exercise physiologists, strength coaches, and trainers who know how to supervise and correct movement appropriately so you can be confident that you are getting the best training around.
These workouts sound rigorous. Will I need to bring my own death certificate? These workouts aren’t meant to kill you. They are vigorous but not lethal. The protocols are designed to accommodate different levels of strength and power capacity in a given movement. You’ll return to friends and family fitter and reinvigorated, and feeling the pleasant effects of major endorphin release.
